Grant Awards
Classroom grants are an important reason why we fundraise each year. Each year, Columbia PTA sets asides "Teacher's Wallet" funds for all teachers to help offset their out-of-pocket expenses for items they purchase for teaching. If funding is available, Columbia staff members also have the opportunity to apply for "Classroom Grants" to fund activities, projects, or materials to enhance our student's educational experience. All grants are reviewed by the PTA and either funded, partiality funded or denied depending on request and funds available.
