Volunteer
While the Columbia Elementary PTA certainly runs on donations, we believe the most important investment you can make in the PTA is time.  Volunteering takes on many different forms and is more important to the PTA and its mission. Please consider volunteering for an upcoming event. We all want the students of Columbia Elementary to be successful.  If your schedule is full, perhaps you might consider becoming a PTA member and attend even just one of the General Meetings this year. We want to hear your opinions. One person's voice can make a difference.  Thank you in advance for supporting the Columbia Elementary School PTA.  

Current Volunteer Opportunities
  • ​Popcorn Fridays: Volunteer to help prep, pack, distribute and clean-up popcorn.  Event takes place once per month.  Shifts are 3 hours.  Check the current home page for most current sign-ups.
  • Art Docent: Volunteer to teach a pre-made art lesson to students.  Event takes place once per month between Feb-May.  Time commitment is about 2 hours each month.  To sign-up, contact: Tran Le at: artdocent@mycolumbiapta.org
Donate Money
Each year Columbia Elementary PTA holds one major fundraiser.  The funds raised go towards activities and programs including Popcorn Fridays, Art Docent, 5th Grade Camp, Teacher's Wallet, Classroom Grants and much more!

Donate to Food For thought Pantry
Food for thought is a resource for teachers to draw from when they have students in need of a snack. It's difficult for hungry brains to learn! We welcome all types of snack donations anything as long as it meets the following criteria: 

  • Snacks should be nutritious,
  • Individually packaged
  • Not require utensils
  • Not past their expiration date.

Suggested items include: goldfish or other crackers, applesauce pouches, fruit snacks or fruit leather, and granola bars (nut free, please!).
Donated items can be dropped at the school front office.
