Welcome to Columbia Elementary PTA!
Columbia Elementary PTA (parent teacher association) works with the school administration, teachers, staff, and parents to support and enrich our students’ learning experience. Through the efforts of committed volunteers, the PTA provides classroom support, organizes special events and activities, plans teacher appreciation activities, and supports enrichment opportunities for all students. We welcome everyone in our community to join our meetings, become involved, and to share their thoughts and ideas with us. Our goal is to advocate on behalf of all students to create an inclusive, nurturing, empowering and positive school community. |

Support Your Classroom!Columbia PTA has created a Teacher/ Staff Wishlist page for families wishing to support Columbia teachers and staff. With the district wide budget cuts, we recognize many classrooms are underfunded and in need of various supplies and materials.
We also have various staff appreciation events throughout the year. This list will help those who want to give something select items that match staff interest or classroom needs. Thank you for supporting Columbia teachers and staff! |
Food for Thought Pantry Stock-up!A few years ago, the PTA started a program at Columbia called, Food For Thought. This is a resource for teachers to draw from when they have students in need of a snack. It's difficult for hungry brains to learn! We'd like to start the year strong with a stocked pantry. If you are able to give, please drop off items at the school office and let them know it is for, "Food for Thought."
Below is a list of suggested items, but you may donate any items that are nutritious, individually packaged, do not require utensils, and not past their expiration date. Suggested items include: goldfish or other crackers, applesauce pouches, fruit snacks or fruit leather, and granola bars (nut free, please!). |
